Sharkskin is known for being an unbelievably tough and durable leather with linear striations throughout. When available, it is often our most popular leather selection particularly among cowboys. Although sharkskin in rugged, it can take a nice shine, making it versatile enough for a dress boot. Like any leather, it is important to maintain them. We recommend using Bick 1 Leather Cleaner and Bick 4 Leather Conditioner on a regular basis. Keep in mind, it is important to get rid of all the dust and dirt before rubbing in the conditioner as you want to make sure the conditioner comes in direct contact with the leather. The great thing about leather conditioner, especially for a dry skin like sharkskin leather, is that it will keep your boots soft and pliable, and even more so, prevent them from cracking over time.
